Product Story: The Jean Lefort Pinot Noir, made by winemaker Sylvie Ravier, exemplifies the purity, elegance and grace of red burgundy wines. The pinot noir grape, which is considered the hardest grape in the world to cultivate and the most fickle finds its truest expression in Burgundy with its highly aromatic nose of raspberries and other delicate red berry fruits and spices.

After harvest, the grapes are immediately destemmed, crushed and fermented for 6-12 days at 30° C in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting Notes: This wine is rich and tannic with fleshy and lively characters. It has an intense garnet-red. It is very aromatic wine with blackcurrants and others red fruits notes.

Food Pairings: This medium bodied wine is fruity in the mouth with silky smooth tannins. This is the perfect accompaniment to chicken, lamb, aubergine based dishes and other spicy ethnic cuisine, as well as traditional French cuisine and fine cheeses
